Job Description Job Description Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Systems Tech is pivotal in ensuring Amcor Wytheville Quality Systems are being followed through evaluation, auditing, tracking, and reporting.
The Quality Systems Tech will work with cross functional teams to help drive continuous improvement, help ensure compliance to regulatory requirements, and create satisfied internal and external customers.
Main Responsibilities Reviewing, tracking, and trending of quality data.
Work with internal and external audit teams for ensuring compliance to FDA, GMP, and IFS PACsecure.
Microbiological sample collection.
Demonstrate quality performance by tracking and trending metrics.
Prepare, distribute, and report to plant leadership on quality system metrics and compliance.
Assist food safety (HACCP) team as needed.
Assist with document control.
Assist with quality testing and evaluation.

Self-driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
No prior experience required in plastic packaging manufacturing.
Previous experience with Lean Manufacturing, GMP, FDA, and IFS PACsecure is a plus.
