Love & Loyalty Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to care for our patients and facilitate the best quality of skilled care and long-term care for our residents.
You will also be responsible for educating them and their families on the care they will be receiving.
The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision.
You will be compassionate and cool-tempered.
You will also be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently.
The goal is to promote patient's well-being by providing high quality nursing care.
Plans and manages patient care according to each patient’s needs.
Interviews patients and records their medical history and physical condition.
Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
Provides routine care for patients.
Observes patient health.
Reviews medical charts.
Accompanies patients to their rooms.
Assists physicians and registered nurses.
Communicates with patients and their families.
Performs standard diagnostic procedures including EKG, phlebotomy, venipuncture, PFT, and Doppler.
Prepares specimens for lab courier.
Administers medications.
Provides wound care.
Prepares and administers injections and/or enemas.
Assists with patient comfort.
Monitors catheters.
Qualifications:
Must possess active Virginia Practical Nurse License
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Hourly Rates $35.
