Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing sterile processing, and assisting with procedures such as spinal taps and basic IV insertion.
- Monitor and maintain infection control measures to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct sonography and assist with diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Provide behavioral health support and counseling to patients.
- Assist with occupational health assessments and screenings.
- Provide care for toddlers, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing.
- Assist with dermal filler procedures under the supervision of a physician.
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license in the state of Virginia.
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing techniques and infection control protocols.
- Experience with spinal taps, basic IV insertion, and specimen collection processing.
- Familiarity with sonography procedures is a plus.
- Ability to provide behavioral health support and counseling to patients.
- Experience in occupational health is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
