ProChem is seeking a hard working, experienced *electrical technician* to join our Water Systems Fabrication & Installation team.
You would be responsible for fabricating, installing, and troubleshooting control panels as well as completing the electrical portion of system installations.
The ideal candidate will have experience running *running conduit,* pulling wire, installing filed instrumentation, writing motors, and working with *480VAC, 120VAC, and 24VDC*.
You will travel frequently within the United States for short and extended periods such as overnight and over weekends (for system installations).
Travel is conducted by road or air.

_Your responsibilities would include:_ * Fabricate and assemble industrial control panels according to specifications * Install, wire, and test control panels and field instruments * Install conduit and run electrical wiring * Read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams * Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems in control panels and field instruments * Complete electrical portions of system installations, including wiring motors and other equipment * Ensure compliance with safety regulation and company policy * Perform other related fabrication and installation duties as assigned to support the overall success of the project _Required qualifications:_ * High school diploma or equivalent * 2+ years of experience as an electrical technician in an industrial setting * Experience running conduit, pulling wire, installing filed instrumentation, wiring motors, and working with 480VAC, 120VAC, and 24VDC * Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and teamwork skills * Knowledge of safety regulations * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision _Physical Demands & Work Environment_ * Works in a variety of conditions, including both indoor and outdoor activities during a variety of weather conditions.
* Exposed to noise form machinery and a variety of odors.
* *Work hours will vary and overtime hours will be required* based on the needs of the project.
* *Moderate activity* with bending, stooping, lifting, and ladder work.
* Working with their hands and feet.
* Working around electricity, water, plumbing equipment, and a variety of chemicals used for water treatment.
* Telephone communication is an essential part of the job expectations.
* May require flexibility in work hours, vacation, and other schedule considerations to successfully support company needs.
* Works with and/or around *energized equipment *(control panel fabrication and operation, electrical valves, pumps, etc.
), fabrication tools, corrosive chemicals, pressurized equipment, confined spaces, and industrial machinery.
