Job Summary: The Senior Agile Delivery Analyst will support and guide development teams with a focus on ensuring the teams meet their web product deliverables within the agile mindset.
Acting as product owner for website development, the owner will have knowledge of the end to end process for web orders, and E-commerce experience with understanding of UX website design, buy-flow functionality, sales funnels, and data analytics.
They will also act as the scrum master facilitating and championing the agile software development process by supporting development teams, researching new features, identifying and eliminating impediments, and promoting the use of standards and best practices.
The product owner /scrum master ensures smooth operation of agile processes and activities, and is responsible for working with Marketing to identify and prioritize user stories/features, leading daily stand-ups, backlog prioritization meetings, and generating weekly status reports and or meetings.
Job Responsibilities: • Work closely with Sales & Marketing on defining new user stories that will help achieve overall ecommerce goals.
• Leveraging knowledge of web product, systems and processes, conduct any needed research to complete user story definition so that development teams can pick up work.
• Support and assist with unit and system testing (when needed) • Coach and guide 1-2 scrum teams with a focus on ensuring the teams meet their product deliverables within the agile framework.
• Organize and facilitate agile activities and ceremonies including daily stand-up meetings, sprint reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, and product backlog refinement sessions.
• Ensure that all meetings are positive, productive, stay on topic, and are kept within the allotted times scheduled.
• Manage the backlog and prioritization.
• Provide weekly status reports and updates to business teams and leadership.
• Effectively manage user story creation, estimation and forecasting.
• Organize and facilitate user acceptance testing, documentation and approval.
• Champion and facilitate adoption of agile standards, tools, and best practices.
• Proactively identify and resolve impediments to team progress.
• Communicate cross-functionality with leaders across the organization to ensure transparency into delivery progress, challenges, and risks.
• Utilize team feedback and metrics (e.
g.
, quality, delivery, cadence, etc.
) to identify areas of opportunity and work with team to continuously improve.
• Coach the team to improve collaboration and self-management, promoting healthy interactions both within the team and with external stakeholders.
• Follow and support change management controls.
• Represent the team at broader planning and coordination sessions (e.
g.
, Scrum of Scrums).
• Support the team in using agile planning and development tools • Contribute to the advancement and improvement of agile practices within the organization.
Qualification Requirements: • Education: Four Year Degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related is required.
Master’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related study preferred.
• Experience Level: 5-7 years’ experience in Product Ownership or Agile Development is required.
• 5-7 years’ experience as a Scrum Master is required • 2-3 years of Telecommunications experience is preferred.
• E-commerce experiece with understanding of UX website design, buy-flow functionality, sales funnels, and data analytics • Experience with Pega and or Adobe Experience Manager a plus Job Skills & Knowledge: Skills: • Agile, scrum, or project management certification required (e.
g.
CSM, CSP, PMP, SAFe).
• Deep knowledge of agile practices, frameworks, and techniques.
• Excellent people and project management skills.
• Coaching skills and ability to motivate teams.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with agile planning and development tools (e.
g.
JIRA, Pega Agile Studio, ServiceNow).
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
