Cockerham Tire and Auto Parts #2 is a local family-owned and operated business that owns and operates 8 convenience stores (Galax, Hillsville, and Fancy Gap, VA), the Hampton Inn in Hillsville, VA, Pizza Inn/TCBY in Hillsville, VA and Cockerham Energy, Galax, VA.
*The Position:*
We are looking for a full-time *Auto and Small Engine Mechanic/Technician*.
Applicant must have a valid driver’s license.
Previous auto mechanic experience and state inspection certification is preferred.
*The Location:*
This position is located at Cockerham Tire & Auto Parts at 900 South Main Street, Galax, VA.
Galax is located in southwestern Virginia, near the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Appalachian Trail, the New River Trail, and is known as the world capital of ‘Old Town Mountain Music.
