Optician Technician

EYES on Main, Optometry is seeking a seasoned optical salesperson.
we offer great hours, Monday through Friday.
Duties: - Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses - Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features - Interpret prescriptions written by optometrists or ophthalmologists - Recommend appropriate lens materials, frames, and lens coatings based on customers' needs and preferences - Adjust and repair eyewear as needed - Educate customers on proper eyewear care and maintenance - Process orders for eyewear and contact lenses - Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling medical billing Qualifications: - Strong understanding of retail math for pricing and inventory management - Proficiency in using electronic health record systems - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and healthcare professionals - Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately measure and fit eyewear - Strong problem-solving skills to address customer concerns or issues with prescriptions or fittings We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
