We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Shift Nursing Supervisor to join our team.
Job Description: As the Night Shift Nursing Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the nursing staff during the Night shift.
You will ensure that our residents receive high-quality care, and you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage nursing staff during the Night shift.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical protocols and standards.
Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers as necessary.
Respond to emergencies and provide guidance to nursing staff in critical situations.
Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless operations.
Monitor and report on the performance of nursing staff.
Assist in staff scheduling and make adjustments as needed.
Conduct regular rounds to assess patient care and address any issues or concerns.
Act as a resource and support for nursing staff, providing guidance and assistance.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license in the state of VA.
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
BLS and ACLS certification.
Strong clinical knowledge and excellent patient care skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and make critical decisions.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Salary/ Wage Range
Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
