Medical Assistant Pediatrics

Hi everyone! New Beginnings Pediatrics is a well known Pediatric Medical office and we are looking to hire pediatric medical assistants Duties - Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing billing and insurance information.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, such as collecting specimens and conducting urine tests.
- Assist with patient education by providing information on medications, procedures, and general healthcare.
Experience - Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role in pediatrics - Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical administrative support functions.
- Experience with medication administration and knowledge of coding procedures.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and the ability to accurately document patient information.
- Ability to perform inhalation therapy treatments under the direction of healthcare providers.
- Excellent patient care skills and the ability to provide compassionate support to patients.
- Basic life support certification is preferred.
