Nurse Practitioner-Galax

Overview: The Life Center of Galax has been a leading treatment center for men and women with drug addiction and alcohol recovery for 40+ years.
We are recruiting additonal staff for our Treatment Center in Galax, VA for 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM evening shift.
Master's in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner program required.
Clinical experience working with the patient population of the facility; ability to demonstrate knowledge of concepts of limit setting, therapeutic boundaries, crisis management, therapeutic treatment, environment and patient care required.
One or more years’ experience as an RN with the patient population of the facility line of business required.
In order to provide the most optimal services possible our addiction rehab center offers the following treatment programs and levels of care: Substance Use Disorder Treatment Gender Specific Groups Relapse Treatment and Prevention DUI/DWI Program allows patients in Virginia Opiate Recovery Co-Occurring Disorder Program i Family Therapy i Day Support Aftercare Current Nurse Practitioner license required, per state regulations/requirements andy.
