Counseling Connect, PLLC is a private group private in Christiansburg, VA.
We provide professional counseling and community services for the New River Valley.
Our practice has an opening for a Resident in Counseling or Marriage & Family Therapy.
We are looking for a clinician with excellent interpersonal and clinical skills.
The clinician must be reliable, trustworthy, conscientious about documentation, and capable of consistently meeting deadlines.
This is an independent contractor position.
Although there is a high level of support for staff members, the clinician needs to be motivated to build up their caseload and responsible for managing their own schedule.

This position:
-Requires a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
-Requires a Resident license in Counseling or Marriage & Family Therapy.
-Experience in a counseling setting (graduate internship is acceptable).
-Active and in-good-standing resident license with the Virginia Board of Counseling.
As a representative of Counseling Connect, PLLC, Clinicians are expected to:
* Provide safe and effective counseling services to all clients that the clinician is qualified to work with and practice in accordance with the American Counseling Association Code of Ethics.
* Provide mental health care and crisis response as needed.
Weekend availability is strongly preferred.
* Participate in clinical supervision, networking events, community service and social justice programs.
* Engage in professional development and continuing education.
Mentorship and business skills training will be provided.
Additional details:
1.
Clinician will have their own office and make their own schedule.
Weekend availability is strongly preferred.
2.
Clinician must work at least 40 billable hours per month.
Referrals may be provided by the practice, but are not guaranteed.
Bonuses and pay increases are available when the clinician achieves the minimum goal for billable hours.
3.
The Clinician's pay is $75 per clinical hour (for full-fee self-pay clients).
The Clinician will be needed to provide counseling and crisis response as part of our service contracts.
Compensation varies for each contract.
4.
Clinicians receive Board-approved clinical and administrative supervision for Virginia licensure (LPC and LMFT Residents).
Additionally, clinicians are trained and mentored to develop the skills needed to be successful in private practice.
5.
Clinicians have access to EHR software for scheduling and documentation.
6.
Clinicians are expected to attend community events and networking opportunities.
Some advertising is provided by the practice.
