I raise my Chicks to Chickens with a lot of love and care.
Unlike the farm store poultry, mine are not shipped with all the stress of travel and many lacking the "Will to Thrive" in growth one you get them home! I start my new chicks, ducks, and peachicks out with electrolytes, probiotics, and chick starter with added dried mealworms for extra protein as soon as they are ready to exit the incubator or natural hatch.
